Taking children for Umrah is a beautiful way to build their love for the holy places. With a little planning it can be easy for the whole family.
Before you go
- Show them pictures and simple videos of the Kaaba and Masjid an-Nabawi.
- Teach them the Talbiyah as a fun family song.
- Put a wristband with your phone number and hotel name on each child.
In Makkah & Madinah
- Choose a hotel close to the Haram so children can nap between prayers.
- Use a light foldable stroller for little ones — upper floors are easier.
- Go for Tawaf when it is quieter and keep children on the inside of the family group.
- Pack snacks, water and a change of clothes.
